The French fleet is almost finished but I still need to dry brush the bases, add some bow waves and wakes, then varnish everything before I can add the labels and flags. I was disappointed with my effort to paint the stern glazing, which ended up a bit mushy, while also mucking up the painting of the top bit, which I tried to do but ended up having to go back and fix. I lost one 74 to the carpet monster as well. Bugger. Anyway the rest are looking presentable and will be fine for wargaming purposes. I'll finish them off, give it take some final bits, tomorrow.
