This is the first half of the Napoleonic naval painting for the next month and a bit, consisting of a range of fourth, fifth and sixth rates, together with some unrated sloops and brigs and a single 64 as a flagship. The first thing to do is to block in the sails with Army Painter Skeleton Bone, which I'm hoping to get done over what's left of the weekend.
Really looking forward to seeing this one progress Jim - just the inspiration I need to get my arse into gear.
ReplyDeleteGood news here is that I should have the ground floor of the cottage done by the end of March which means I can finally dig out the paints and ships and get cracking :-)
On a Napoleonic naval note, the cottage was built in 1804, so someone once sat where I am now and probably toasted Nelson's victory at Trafalgar
Great to know you will be able to get some wargaming in soon. I'd love to have a more interesting house but mine"s a 1960's semi detached one...not so exciting!
