As this is my 500th AK47 post I thought it would be a nice idea to set out my plans for this year. The new People's Edition of AK47 will be published soon and I'm sure it will revive interest in the game, with a resulting boost in membership on the Facebook group. I'm obviously going to grab a copy and get a game or two organised at the club, assuming I can use my existing armies.
I'm also planning to expand the small Professional force I painted a couple of years ago into a fully equipped Colonial Settlers army, using the existing units as a core of Regular troops but adding further small arms, tanks, trucks and helicopters, as well as a proper Professional special forces unit. I'm not sure when this will get going but it's on the 'to do' list.
You will be able to use your existing figures. However, you might need some additional leader bases as well as some way of matching casualty bases to the unit they came from.
