| Yoshino |
As part of my Chilean Pre-dreadnought fleet expansion, as it is a bit under equipped, I'm going to have a go at converting the Tumbling Dice model of the Japanese protected cruiser Yoshino into the Chilean Blanco Encalada. These were both archetypal Elswick cruisers and almost exactly the same size and layout, except for the position of the bridge, foremast and funnels, all of which can be relocated with a bit of effort. If it works, I'll have another cruiser to offset the relative strength of the Chilean navy against Argentinian armoured cruiser dominance.
