The Argentine Fight for the Falklands


I've not been not very well over the last couple of days so have been stuck in bed, reading this as a change from the usual. It's nearly forty years since the Falklands War but it was a major event when I was at school, so I've always been interested in the conflict. I hadn't read anything from an Argentinean angle about the war, however, so this book was really fascinating and is highly recommended.

    I have his "Fight For The Malvinas" book from around 1990. Is this a revised edition?

    Yes, it was republished in 2003 and again in 2009.

    Well more than a little "off track" Los Chicos de la Guerra had me in stiches when it described the Gurkha assault. Hooked up to Sony Walkmans and allegedly high as kites!
