1/2400th German Pre-Dreadnoughts

I thought it would be fun to have a small Imperial German flotilla of pre-dreadnought coastal battleships and a cruiser or two, backed up by some torpedo boats as an alternative enemy for my French fleet. I already have a couple of Victoria Louise class protected cruisers and Brandenberg class battleships, as well as three Siegfried class coastal battleships, which I bought ages ago but then forgot about, so a few more added on to the lead pile won't break the bank.

The torpedo boats are actually a model of the Japanese Shiritaka class TB but this was built by the Schichau Elbing works and is a pretty good match for an S-24 or S-33 class TB as a result. When I'll get round to assembling and painting the German squadron is another matter but they can be used against the Russians, French and even the Royal Navy, so lots of potential 'What If?' shenanigans in the Baltic to play around with for potential scenarios or even a mini-campaign.

  1. Those German coastal battleships had a look all their own.
