I've just finished blocking in the decks on the 1/2400th Tumbling Dice French ships, using Vallejo US Tan Earth tidied up with Vallejo Matt Black. As usual, they look a bit crap but will be much better after an ink wash. The next job will be to block in all the areas that need colour in Vallejo Cold White, which is a really good base for colours, but it's going to take me flippin' ages so don't hold your breath!
