I really enjoyed painting the cruisers for the River Plate last week so, in a slight change of plan, I am going to add these early war battleships and battlecruisers to the painting schedule this week, alongside the Bismarck and Emden. All of these were involved in the Norwegian Campaign to a greater or lesser extent, so they will just have an overall dark grey paint scheme with no fiddly camouflage to slow me down. These are all Davco models c1977 and surprisingly nicely detailed given their vintage.
