I've neglected the Victorian ironclads project over the weekend, so to give myself a break from all that boring re-basing, I'm going to set up another game of Broadside and Ram set in a counterfactual 'What If?' conflict between France and Great Britain c1870.
The scenario is still a bit sketchy but will probably involve a coastal 'tip and run' raid by French ironclads being intercepted by a sweep from the Royal Navy Channel Squadron, or possibly vice versa. I'll do a background blurb once I've worked it out properly.
I'm planning to use about half a dozen ships for each side, so a step up from my earlier games which involved half as many models. It will be interesting to see how that make a difference to the way the rules play, as I'll be running it as a solo game.
