Brigade Models Coastal Forts

I've been meaning to get some of the Brigade Models small scale scenery range for ages, to use with my 1/2400th scale ironclads and age of sail warships, but wasn't sure if they would scale out being 1/1000th scale and therefore bigger. However, I've picked up the general vibe that they look fine with 1/2400th scale models, so I've bitten the bullet and ordered a few of the coastal fortifications. The one that really caught my eye was the Vauban style fort, with it's characteristic bastions and layout, so that had to go into the shopping cart, along with a few other interesting things. I hope they work out?

  1. I’ll be happy to let you be the guinea pig here Jim, I’d been curious about these too. Barry Hilton’s had good results with 2mm forts but I can’t recall the maker, maybe it’s Brigade.

  2. It's irregular miniatures, which is the other option I was going to try. If the Brigade Models forts don't scale well with 1/2400th I'll just use then for 1/1200th Napoleonics.

  3. I'm buying some of the small scale buildings for my Aeronef project so I'll be interested in how you get on with this
