Now that Ofsted is over, it's back to the workbench with my latest project ready to go. As you can see, it's 15mm SCW using Peter Pig figures and designed for the BAIT rules, although I'm also going to use them for IABSM. The focus is on a Republican regular army company, built around the list in the BAIT rulebook. It will consist of a Company Command unit, two or three platoons of infantry with LMG's, one support platoon of three HMG's, a couple of 75mm guns with trucks and a tank unit of four T26 tanks. It's not too much to tackle and I'm hoping to get started over the weekend on the basing up.
Excellent. I love those minis. I have a platoon sized force of Carlists, another platoon of Moroccans and some odds and ends of a Republican platoon. There used to be a company called the Late Queen that also had some excellent figures that were compatible but sadly, they went under.

ReplyDeleteI have a copy of BAIT somewhere but I think I only played it once years ago. I've mainly used IABSM or Blitzkrieg Commander for this period but I'm always on the hunt for the "perfect" ruleset so it'll be interesting to see how the project develops.
You have good lists to play SCW with IABSM in one of the old biannual Specials. Ask in the TFL Yahoo group
