I've been allowed to go to Colours tomorrow and so will be driving up the A34 to Newbury in the morning after dropping off my daughter at gymnastics. The down side is that I have to take the rest of the offspring with me, so that the other half gets a few hours of peace and quiet. I apologize in advance for this and advise you to avoid these two at all costs. I'll be shoving a tenner into their sweaty palms then running off in the opposite direction, which will hopefully take me to the Tumbling Dice stand to get some 1/2400th scale pre-dreadnoughts, amongst other things. See you there!
Welcome to my blog. I have upwards of 100 projects in various stages of incompletion or total abandonment, so you may well find something of interest if you rummage about a bit. I concentrate on solo air and naval wargaming but other 'skirmishy' things quite often pop up out of nowhere, only to disappear again after something else grabs my attention. I even finish the occasional project now and again!

ReplyDeleteHa ha...fancy a swap?
ReplyDeleteI'll be there on the NWS game :)
ReplyDeleteI'll say hello, if you're not too busy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time
ReplyDeleteI hope you went in the 'old' entrance and didn't make the mistake which we did of following the signs which took us over the bridge and into the racecourse from the racecourse end. The sweary car parking Hitler started to throw a real wobbly when we politely asked where the car park we needed for Colours was. Amusingly I then saw that the road behind us was full of cars of people all about to do the same thing. I hope he suffered.
ReplyDeleteAnyway the rest of the show was good I thought. I hope you had a great day there.
I took the plunge into 6mm WW2 over at the Heroics and Ros stand. A productive afternoon...once I got there. The M3 around Winchester was just awful.
