HMS Royal Alfred


Here are the numbers that I've worked out for HMS Royal Alfred with the Broadside and Ram fast play rules.

Type: Armoured Ship (AS)

Cruise Speed (CS): 3

Max Speed (MS): 4

Attack Factor (AF): 5

Defence Factor (DF): 7

This makes her quite a powerful box battery ironclad warship in her own right but she'll have a tough fight on her hands against the US monitors nonetheless!

    Given the Monitor class' low freeboard you might even things up by introducing rough seas.
