Nick Jones has very kindly sent me a draft of a campaign system he is working on based on frigate actions in the Western Approaches in 1796. It's designed to work with his own rules, which I think he will publish when they have been fully play tested. I hope so, as I think they are pretty good, with some interesting ideas and lots of historical flavour.
I'm going to have a good read through of his campaign system to see how it works, although I can't print it off just yet as I'm away from home. It is, as you would expect, a very well laid out and imaginative set of rules that I am keen to have a crack at once I've painted up some 1/2400th frigates and sloops. There are quite a few involved in the campaign, which is anchored on actual events, but I don't think you'd need all of them to play out the games.
