I've been re-reading this today, with a tentative plan to do something interwar with the 1/3000th Navwar models. Navwar do two fleet packs, one Argentinian and the other Brazilian, which are off the shelf, but not the Chilean fleet or any of the old Chilean pre-dreadnoughts that it was largely equipped with.
However, the battleship Admiral Latorre is available as HMS Canada, while the Faulkner class destroyers can be sourced from the British range as HMS Tipperary. This would be an excellent 'fleet in a week' project and not at all expensive. I really like the idea of linking all of my South American naval projects together and this is one obvious chronological gap, along with the age of sail wars of liberation era, so why not?
