I finished this yesterday and can throroughly recommend it as both a good read and a very useful source of information on the Confederate merchant raiders, with particularly emphasis on the Alabama.
I had read the book on the Monitor by the same author a few years ago, which is another very readable and well researched book, so I expected this to be good. If you can track down copies of either book on Amazon or Ebay they're worth getting hold of.
