HMS Leander |
Another busy Sunday but the Napoleonic naval project ploughs onwards nonetheless, with four Third Rate '74's' and a Fourth Rate '50' slipping off the stocks. The latter was an afterthought but will be HMS Leander, which had a very colourful career at one point being captured by the French, then recaptured by the Russians, then returned to service with the Royal Navy.

She will be added to my Inshore / West Indies Squadron, which I'm going to paint first, with the rest of the fleet to follow (eventually). I now have a few more Third Rate '74's', a single '80' and a Second Rate '98' to build, which I'll chip away at over the week.
