Units of the Mbote Defence Force have been mobilised by an executive order from President for Life of Mbote, General Papi Mpongo, after he roundly condemned the 'illegal, immoral and inflammatory' seizure of the biggest, bestest Xmas tree in Africa at the Ima Drongo border yesterday.
In a rousing speech to the assembled troops, President Mpongo, commander in chief of the MDF, vowed that military action may be used to retrieve the tree, which he claimed was now located at a hidden location, somewhere near the Ima Drongo border.
President Mpongo went on to deride the official Xmas tree of Ima Drongo that has been unveiled by President Johnson, which he described as a laughable attempt to imitate the wondrous splendour of the official Mbote government's biggest, bestest tree in Africa.
