I'm taking my copy of Strength and Honour and my Imperial Roman and Parthian armies to the club this evening, in an attempt to drum up some interest in a game or two, so that I can learn to play the rules. There's a core of Ancient wargaming enthusiasts who play Fields of Glory or Spear and Sword in 15mm, so there's a good chance I might encourage at least one of them to give the rules a try and perhaps even paint up an army. I'm also thinking of painting another army myself, probably a barbarian tribal Gallic, Ancient British or Dacian one, as I quite like the idea of modelling those big warband horde bases and some nippy chariots.
