I had a crack at this today in between loads of other things. The locomotive was dis-assembled, spray undercoated and stuck back together again, minus the battery compartment and on/off switch. I glued the firebox into the cab in place of the battery unit and superglued the wheels, before screwing the various bits into their original locations.
I then drybrushed the engine and tender in Foundry Charcoal Black and Rawhide, using all three shades of each of the colours. I need to add some detailing and perhaps a dull metal shade to the front end of the engine but I'm going to keep things very simple, so it's pretty much done and dusted already.
Coming along nicely - Lots of great scope for detailing on that baby!
