These are the latest naval rules from Rory Crabb, based on his modern Naval Command rules system but adapted to the Second World War. I'm keen to try them out but not just yet, as they are a bit more expensive than usual and I am happy wait until they are on special offer at Wargames Vault. The other rules that I have downloaded have also been re-issued and amended several times, so I think it would be wise to hang back a little until any gremlins have been fully exorcised.
I already have a very nice, fully equipped 1/3000 early war French fleet that I can use for a game but no opposition, so before I get the rules, I really should get round to producing a matching Royal Navy or Regia Marina fleet first. You can find the rules here:

I was looking at getting them, but the price put me off as well. Good to know that you have 1/3000s. I'll look at getting some myself - possibly IJN/USA (fancy some carrier battles)
ReplyDeleteI've had a couple of games of early war French vs Japanese in Indochina with Andy. Good fun but we left out the planes otherwise the French have no chance.
