I spotted this on TMP today and, after about thirty seconds of careful deliberation, decided to snap up a .pdf copy from Wargames Vault for the equivalent of a Tesco BLT sandwich and a packet of crisps.
I had thought about doing 1.300th Sci Fi many times in the past using Brigade Models vehicles and Old Crow dropships, landing craft, vtol's and terrain bits and pieces. The annual Brigade Models Xmas sale nearly trapped me this year but I resisted the temptation.
Now I have no excuse!
I have started using wargames vault, with a view to dropping the rules onto my Kindle.

Make sure you get the Phase Line Bravo supplement from WV (especially as it's free!).
ReplyDeleteI really need to get a Kindle, or soemthing similar, given the quantity of stuff I have in PDF's. I think I'll wait until the next generation emerges though, so that I can get something on the cheap.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve,
ReplyDeleteI picked up PLB with the rules, so have some reading to do before I order some toys from Brigade.
I'm thinking of some ONESS Brits (or Dutch) but will have to wait until the end of the month, unless I can sneak it past the Ministry of the Interior.
IIRC Brigade plan to do some "proper" Dutch (or maybe Poles)
ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteI happen to have some 6mm sci-fi painted up. One of those didn't quite get off the ground projects so if you need some opposition I'd be quite happy to break mine out and use them.
Jon
Sounds like a plan :O)
